Warning: Feels Overload

Amazing things are happening tomorrow!

First off, one of my favourite authors new book is being released! That book is…

lady midnight

Lady Midnight by Cassandra Clare

It’s been five years since the events of City of Heavenly Fire that brought the Shadowhunters to the brink of oblivion. Emma Carstairs is no longer a child in mourning, but a young woman bent on discovering what killed her parents and avenging her losses.

Together with her parabatai Julian Blackthorn, Emma must learn to trust her head and her heart as she investigates a demonic plot that stretches across Los Angeles, from the Sunset Strip to the enchanted sea that pounds the beaches of Santa Monica. If only her heart didn’t lead her in treacherous directions…

Making things even more complicated, Julian’s brother Mark—who was captured by the faeries five years ago—has been returned as a bargaining chip. The faeries are desperate to find out who is murdering their kind—and they need the Shadowhunters’ help to do it. But time works differently in faerie, so Mark has barely aged and doesn’t recognize his family. Can he ever truly return to them? Will the faeries really allow it?

You may or may not know, The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare is one of my favourite series ever – when City of Heavenly Fire came out, I read it in one day and a half (ah, back in the good old days when I could read fast!).

I’ve desperately been awaiting the release of Cassie’s new series since the sixth book in TMI came out, and the day has finally come!! I can’t tell you guys how excited I am for this book to be in my possession – I’m a bit worried about how much I’ll fangirl when I see the book in real life, though. There’s definitely going to be a lot of squeaking and jumping up and down. (Possibly tears, too.)

I’m actually going to a bookstore tomorrow, and am planning on picking up a copy while there. I can’t wait to delve straight into it – my review of it will be posted as soon as I’m done, and my friend Sophie and I are planning to do a special post on it too!

The reason I’m going to a bookstore tomorrow is actually really special too, but I can’t say why just yet. I’ve got a post planned for Wednesday or Thursday, explaining the amazing-ness that it bound to ensue!

Just to sum up how awesome I think tomorrow is going to be, here is what I’m thinking right now: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks!
